蝎子乐队最早成立于1969年，由 Rudolf Schenker（rhythm guitar/vocals）是乐队的组织者与灵魂，而他也正是蝎子乐队唯一一位自始至终的成员。经历了30多年的风风雨雨，乐队的人员经历了多次变动，最多时6人，而目前，乐队只剩下 Klaus Meine〔leader vocals〕, Rudolf Schenker, Matthias Jabs〔leader guitar〕 三名成员。三员摇滚老将各个身怀绝技，Klaus Meine那嘹亮干净的高亢嗓音以及炉火纯青的唱功，即使在欧美顶尖摇滚乐队里也是数一数二的，而且还写得一手极棒的歌词，内涵颇深。Rudolf Schenker作为乐队的领导者，乐队每首作品的作曲基本上都是由他包办的，而蝎子作品旋律的优美、流畅、大气也正是乐队风靡世界的金字招牌。而Matthias Jabs凌厉无比的吉他扫弦，更是技艺非凡，主音吉他的大段吉他SOLO技巧性高，又极为耐听，也是蝎子乐队的音乐特色。1989年，他们在俄罗斯举办了数场演唱会，从而成为第一支到前苏联开演唱会的西方资本主义国家摇滚乐队，这次俄罗斯之行使他们对前苏联这个在西方世界都感到难以想象的国家有了一个新的认识，在莫斯科街头感受阵阵微风，更促使 Klaus Meine 写下了他最著名的歌曲 《Wind Of Change》。成为了乐队最受认可的世界性曲目。始终绕梁的是音乐中悠扬的令人叫绝的口哨SOLO，它使这首歌骤然有了灵魂。

这里我要推介不是这首米兰小铁匠网友推荐的《Wind Of Change》，毕竟这首歌政治气息过浓了。我推介的是初听就非常有感觉的《send me a angel》〔赐我天使〕，出自乐队与BERLINER PHILHARMONIKER〔柏林爱乐交响乐团〕合作的精选专辑《Moment of glory》〔辉煌的一瞬间〕。音乐前奏初始是气势极为恢弘的交响乐，磅礴的音流几乎压迫得难以呼吸，忽然音乐一转，舒缓悠扬的管乐演奏演奏却将曲调从慷慨激昂挽至款款抒情，柔婉的旋律异于蝎子高亢的音乐风格，却是同样的动听入心至极。在吉他solo之中，歌手的歌声契合地插入进来，主音Klaus Meine高亢嘹亮又不失沙哑磁性的嗓音在此时却压得极为低沉，嗓音的穿透力依然未减，更增加了万般哀婉沧桑的深情。粗犷沙哑的歌声来自节奏吉他兼主音Rudolf Schenker，他嗓音的浑厚与Klaus Meine嘹亮嗓音形成了鲜明的对照，却同样蕴含深邃的感情。如果用乐器来比喻的话，Klaus Meine的嗓音嘹亮、高亢、细腻就像管弦乐之王－－小提琴，而Rudolf Schenker的歌喉的低沉、浑厚、粗犷就如同无比抒情的大提琴，两者完美地配合演绎，让这首音乐极富听觉上的享受和魅力。曲至高潮，两名主音在恢弘的管弦乐协奏下高亢的一浪接一浪的“Here I am”如澎湃的波涛猛烈冲击你的心房，形成了此首音乐让人记忆最为深刻的特色。

蝎子乐队，把生命溶入摇滚乐的创作之中，即使哪一天你被新的音乐潮流所湮没，其他人再也记不起你和你的音乐，你也仍然是我的最爱！
